Aria never accepts nor handles transactional monies, but initiates financial transactions between your payment gateway and your merchant account on your behalf.

Special Note:
- Payment Gateway integration configurations are extremely sensitive with respect to security of payment card and other personally identifiable information. You should carefully control and routinely monitor your Payment Gateway(s). Given your role as controller of the data that flows through the gateway, you should limit access to this module to your qualified, authorized resources, and ensure compliance with PCI and other applicable data security and privacy laws, regulations and standards.
- Certain payment gateways will require your customers to re-enter their credit cards before 31 October 2020 to comply with PSD2 (second Payment Services Directive) for recurring transactions. Adyen will manage it so that transactions prior to this date can be grandfathered in by the issuers. Please check with your payment gateway representative for more information.
There are several supported payment gateways you can choose from, and you need to select at least one. Your chosen payment gateway will provide you with login credentials and additional information you can enter in your Aria payment gateway integration configuration.
Your payment gateway interacts with a payment processor. A payment processor is a third-party payment system that communicates with credit card provider networks and ACH networks. You must initiate and maintain agreements with your chosen payment gateway(s), the applicable payment processor(s), and a merchant bank to complete financial transactions in Aria using payment gateways.
If you require multiple payment gateways, you can create collections account groups to direct electronic financial transactions from an account in one of those groups through particular payment gateways. You must also indicate which payment methods that you will allow your customers to use.
ARIA COMM Errors
An ARIA COMM error may occur when you try to perform payment transactions and there is a temporary communications issue. If you see an ARIA COMM error, please contact Aria Customer Support for assistance. Aria will investigate the issue and, if necessary, ask you to contact your payment gateway to resolve it.
