Contracts

Contracts

A contract is an optional overlay on a plan assignment. You can apply a contract to a Subscription or an Add-On. By default, subscriptions are assigned to an account in perpetuity unless a change in account status or subscription assignment removes the subscription from the account.

By creating a contract, you can specify a duration for which a subscription should be assigned to an account and what action occurs after the contract has expired. For example, you can offer your customers a subscription at a special discounted rate for one year via a contract, then continue service without a contract with standard rates after the contract expires.

Select Account Contracts from the side navigation menu. This page allows you to view a list of the account contracts.

Hover over the Name column to quickly view the Contract Number.

Click on the Name column to view the Contract Terms.

Select the drop down arrow to the left of a contract Name to show some basic contract details, including Plan, Name, AssignedClient ID, and Current Rate Schedule.

Note: The Create a New Contract button and the contract details dropdown arrow are upcoming features that will be developed in a future release.
