Create Account Notifications in Different Languages

Overview

You can set up account notifications in different languages by creating new Locale Settings and assigning them to Email Templates.

It is important to note that only the Aria transactional words will be replaced when a notification is generated. The notification itself must be written in the desired language.

Create Account Notifications in Different Languages

  1. Create a new Locale Setting for the desired language (e.g. Danish) and input the translated name for each Aria transactional word.

  1. Create a new Email Template for each necessary template class (e.g. Account Activation, Account Welcome, etc.), and select the appropriate Locale Setting from the Locale drop-down.

Note: It is a best practice to specify the language in the Email Template Name (e.g. "Danish Account Activation"). This makes it easier to associate the correct Email Template to the Notification Template Group.

  1. Create a new Notification Template Group for the language and add all applicable Email Templates (e.g. Danish Account Activation).

Note: It is a best practice to specify the language in the Notification Template Group name (e.g. "Danish Notifications"). This makes it easier to associate the correct Email Template to the applicable accounts.

  1. Assign the Notification Template Group (e.g. Danish Notifications) to all applicable accounts by navigating to Account Overview > Notification Method > Notification Template Group.

Note: The Locale Setting created for a different language is only replacing automated, Aria transactional words (manually inputted when creating the new Locale Setting) when the notification is generated. The notification itself must be written in the desired language.
