Create an Installment Surcharge

Overview

You can configure a surcharge to be used as additional fees to be used along with Non-Subscription Offering (NSO) purchase with installment terms. To use a surcharge as an installment surcharge, you should follow these guidelines:

  • Available only when the scope is ‘specified item charges’ and surcharge calculation method is ‘volume percentage.'
  • Installment surcharge has a 1:1 relationship with item charge (Non-Subscription Offering); the surcharge can only be mapped to one Non-Subscription Offering.
  • ‘Minimum surcharge to apply’ is not applicable.

Prerequisites

  1. Create an NSO.
  2. Create an order-based service with the associated NSO.
  3. Create an Installment Term that applies to the NSO.
