Define Template Group Assignment Behavior for New Accounts

Overview

You can specify the default behavior of Aria for assigning Notification Template Groups during account creation by setting a client-level configuration parameter.

Configuring Notification Template Group Assignment for New Accounts

Getting here: Configuration > Notifications > Notification Settings

Click the configuration parameter Notification Template Group Copy On Account Creation. Values and descriptions are below:

  1. Do not Copy (Default):
Aria will not copy the Notification Template Group (NTG) from the Master Plan Instance's (MPI) Plan to the new Account nor its Billing Group(s).
  2. Copy notification template from Master Plan to Account level:
Aria will copy the NTG associated with the first Master Plan, if one exists, to the Account.
  3. Copy notification template from Master Plan to billing group:
Aria will copy the NTG associated with the first Master Plan, if one exists, to the account's Billing Group.
  4. Copy notification template from Master Plan to both account level and billing group level:
Aria will copy the NTG associated with the first Master Plan, if one exists, to both the Account and the Account's Billing Group.

    Notes:

    1. The specified value for <notification_template_group_no> in a create_acct_complete_m call will take precedence over the client parameter setting Notification Template Group Copy On Account Creation.

    2. During account creation via either the Aria UI or an API call, the Notification Template Group from the Master Plan will be copied to the Billing Group if so configured. Specific templates from the Master Plan (Credit Note, Credit Memo, Statement and Rebill) will not be copied to the Billing Group.
