  1. Select one of the following Modify Price During Purchase? options:
  • Select Yes to specify that CSRs can change the price of this offering in Aria. Select No to specify that CSRs cannot change the price of this offering in Aria.

Note: Users must have the applicable CSR (Customer Service Representative) access level in Aria in order to change the prices of non-subscription offerings.

  • Subunit Quantity: If applicable, specify the number of subunits of the offering that is available for customers to consume with each purchase. For example, if the offering is a 100-minute calling card, the subunit quantity would be 100.

Note: Aria cannot track the subunit quantity; Aria can track only the stock level of the offering.

  1. If applicable, specify the type of unit that is available in the offering in the Subunit Label field. For example, if the offering is a 100-minute calling card, the subunit label would be minutes.
  2. In the Pricing Rule field, select Standard, Volume Discount, or Flat Rate Per Tier.
  3. Under Rate Settings, select the Rate Schedule from the drop-down list or click the Add Rate Schedule button. In the Rate Schedule Name field, enter a short, descriptive name for the rate schedule.
  4. In the Client Defined Identifier field, keep the auto-populated value or enter another unique value.

Note: The Client Defined Identifier of an existing rate schedule can be edited by setting the Enable Client Rate Schedule ID Edit in Product Catalog client parameter (Configuration > Client Settings > Miscellaneous Settings) to Yes.

  5. Select a currency from the Currency dropdown to specify which currency you want associated with the specific rate schedule you are creating.
  6. Check the Tax Inclusive Rates field next to all applicable currencies. If checked, the rates entered for this service will be “tax inclusive” and the rate(s) entered will be split and displayed as two line items on an invoice: one as a charge line item and one as a tax line item.
  7. For Rate Tiers, by default, the From and To fields display 1 - infinity. After configuring a tier using the From and To fields, enter the Rate for that tier. Click the plus symbol to add a new rate tier.
