Subscription Activity

The Subscription Activity section tracks non-usage transactions in Aria Allegro, including activation and recurring charges for allowances and accumulators, and minimum commitment true-ups. These are referred to as monetized subscription charges.

Types of Subscription Activity Records

Type Description
One-time Created for activation services at the time of plan purchase.
Forward-recurring Created for recurring charges applied at the start of a billing cycle, at a configured frequency (days, weeks, months, quarters, or years).
Arrears-recurring Created for recurring charges applied at the end of a billing cycle, at a configured frequency.
True-up Created when actual usage falls below the minimum commitment value. The true-up amount is sent to core Aria as an order.

The drawer displays the following sections:

  • Header Attributes—key attributes displayed at the top of the drawer.

    • Applied Start and End Date/Time—the subset of the cycle during which the charge applies (for example, for a mid-cycle purchase or cancellation).
    • Scale—the proration scale applied to the recurring charge. The scale equals the ratio of the applied period to the full cycle period, adjusted by the proration setting (No Charge = 0, Full Charge = 1, Prorate = calculated value).
    • Cycle Unit and Duration—the frequency of the recurring charge (for example, monthly = cycle unit MONTHS, duration 1).
    • Proration—the proration setting used for scale calculation.
  • Allowance—displayed only when an allowance is granted for activation or recurring service. Maximized by default.
  • Accumulators—displayed only when one or more accumulators are added for the charge. Minimized by default.
