Quantity Tier Usage Pricing
Quantity tiers reset to zero for each usage record. This model is well-suited for long sessions such as video conferencing or streaming. Refer to the 4. Pricing Models section for details on Quantity Tiers.
Expected Result
For a three-hour usage session, the system applies one rate for the first hour, a second rate for the next 30 minutes, and a third rate for the remainder.
Setup
- Set up the plan, plan rate schedule, and plan services in core Aria.
- In Aria Allegro, set the price offer for tier pricing. Set Pricing Model to Tiered and Tier Reference to Quantity in the tiered section (other tiered attributes are disabled). Set the tiers and define currency, accumulator, and allowance impacts for each tier.
- The rest of the setup and processing remains unchanged.
