Aria Customized Tier Rates for Accounts

Customized rates for each end-customer contract work only with the core Aria customized tiers. Allegro Monetization models are not part of the catalog or order flow process (plan instance management), so customized rates for Allegro monetization models are not yet supported.

Expected Result:

Apply account-specific customized tiers and tier rates for each usage type.

Variants:

Tier quantity reference can span usage types within a master plan instance hierarchy. This applies only to tier quantity reference; each usage type retains its own tiers and tier rates.

Setup:

  1. Pre-configure accumulator resources in Aria Allegro for tier configurations. For independent tiers by usage type, set independent accumulators. Otherwise, set a common accumulator for all usage types. Configure accumulator resources with Accumulate Quantity set to True.
  2. Set up the plan, plan rate schedule, and plan services as required in core Aria.
  3. Set the Price-offer in Aria Allegro for accumulator-based progressive tier pricing using the accumulators from step 1. Set standard pricing for accounts without customized pricing.
  4. Manage customized tiers and rates as done in core Aria with the plan instance add.
  5. In the subscription view, identify the price unit for which customized tiers and rates are provided. If customized tiers appear in Aria Allegro, the rating engine applies the customized tier pricing. If not, Aria applies the standard tier pricing set in the corresponding price-offer.

The following screenshot shows the view of the price-unit with customized pricing in the Aria Allegro Subscription view for the price-unit.
