Preconfigured multiple rate schedules

When a limited number of pricing variations are expected across accounts, those variations can be preconfigured as multiple rate schedules. Each plan instance receives a specific rate schedule. Aria Allegro supports this and syncs with core Aria without additional setup.

Rollover for rate schedules

Core Aria allows plans and rate schedules to roll over after a term expires, enabling new pricing to apply at term end. Aria Allegro supports this and syncs with core Aria without additional setup.

Future rates for rate schedules

Core Aria lets you set a future date and future rate for each price point in a rate schedule. This enables rate changes that take effect at a specified date. In Aria Allegro, pricing administrators can set future dates and rates for all or selected price points in a price plan.

Price offer versions

Aria Allegro supports creating multiple versions of a price offer, each with its own effective date. To create a new version:

1. Navigate to Price Plans under Monetization in the Usage section of the UI.
2. Search for the price offer to version.
3. Click the Price Offer Id link to open the drawer.
4. Click the Versions button at the top right of the drawer to open the versions panel.
5. In the versions panel, review existing versions and their effective start dates. Select a version to enable the Copy-to-Create button.
6. Click Copy-to-Create to open a new drawer for the new version.
7. Configure the new version as you would any price offer, and verify the effective date is correct.
8. Click Save.

The Aria Allegro UI displays the default version as follows:

• If past, current, and future versions exist, the current version displays by default.
• If only future versions exist, the earliest future version displays.
• If only past versions exist, the latest past version displays.
• The price offer search results apply the same algorithm and display one row per price offer.

To modify an existing price offer version

You can edit existing price offer versions. Aria Allegro does not allow changing the pricing model via version modification. For immediate pricing changes, modify the existing price plan directly. For future pricing changes, create a new price offer version.

1. Navigate to Price Plans under Monetization in the Usage section.
2. Search for the price offer to modify.
3. Click the Price Offer Id link to open the drawer.
4. To modify the current version, edit the pricing fields directly and click Save.
5. To modify a future version, click the Versions button at the top right of the drawer.
6. Click the version ID link with the desired effective date to open that version's drawer.
7. Edit the pricing fields and click Save.

Custom pricing per subscription

When a price plan syncs with Aria Allegro, Aria Allegro manages subscriptions using price units that reference the price offer version. The Aria Allegro price units API supports three types of subscription-level pricing adjustments:

• Price override: A fixed price applied to all price points, suitable for FLAT pricing. This detaches pricing from the catalog until an order changes the offers.
• Price offset: A fixed positive or negative amount applied to all price points. For example, –$1 applies a one-dollar discount.
• Percentage offset: A fixed positive or negative percentage applied to all price points.
