Omnistudio Components For Industries Clouds
Aria Billing Studio for Salesforce’s Omnistudio Pack is a couple of installable packs that enables Aria Billing Cloud to be interactively accessed and managed from within Salesforce Service consoles.

What is in the Omnistudio Pack?

  • Aria Billing Studio for Salesforce’s Omnistudio Pack is a couple of installable packs that enables Aria Billing Cloud to be interactively accessed and managed from within Salesforce Service consoles.
  • This is an Omnistudio module enabling fully functional and advanced access to Aria Billing from within Salesforce Service Cloud that goes beyond what standard integration or TM Forum Open APIs can support today.
  • It enables advanced access to customer bills and related revenue management actions. It is built and offered by Aria to all customers (currently requires Salesforce Industries – Omnistudio for Vlocity). 
  • Aria Billing Studio should be considered a starting ready-to-run package that customers and their delivery teams can modify as required.
  • The ABS 2.0 version introduced the following enhancements:
    • Usage Display
    • UI Redesign
    • Initiation/Retrieval of Dispute Holds

Omnistudio Artifacts

The Digital Experience Layer

  • The Digital Experience layer includes two primary user interface (UI) components. 
    • Omnistudio FlexCards: Cards that display contextual information and actions in an at-a-glance format for customer account data
    • OmniScripts: A guided path to complete a business process
  • These declarative tools provide rich user interaction experiences that are easily understandable. They’re built on Salesforce Lightning web components (LWC).

The Service Management Layer

  • The Service Management layer includes data services that read, write, transform, calculate, and track data within and outside of Salesforce. 
    • Omnistudio DataRaptors: Configurable services for retrieving, transforming, and updating data
    • Omnistudio Integration Procedures: Declarative, server-side processes that execute multiple actions in a single server call
  • DataRaptors and Integration Procedures deliver data to and from UI components. They orchestrate calls to Apex classes, calculation engines, and external application programming interfaces (APIs).
