Create a Product Offering Catalog
Overview
Product Offering Catalogs are the top-level entity in the catalog hierarchy. Catalogs can have categories, and categories can have subcategories or product offers.
Note: The role required to Create a New Product Offering Catalog is sn_prd_pm_product_catalog_admin and sn_prd_pm_product_catalog_manager. The role required to manage pricing data is sn_csm_pricing.pricelist_administrator.
Create a New Product Offering Catalog

- From the ServiceNow Main Menu, click on the Workspaces menu tab, and select CSM/FSM Configurable Workspace from the available drop down selections.

- Click on the List icon.
- Scroll down and click on the Offerings drop down arrow and select Product Offering Catalogs.

- Click on the New button.

The Create New Product Offering Catalog screen displays as shown above.
Note: The Number field is a system-generated number that identifies the product catalog.
- Type in a Product Offering Catalog Name.
- Select the Attach Image links to upload a Thumbnail Image or Image of your catalog if desired.
- Click on the Default field's check box to indicate that this catalog is the default catalog displayed to your sales agents. Agents can switch from one default catalog to another.
Note: The State field displays the current status of the catalog. The supported life cycle states are Draft, Published, Retired, and Archived.
- Click on the Calendar icon to choose the Start date, then select OK. This Start date indicates when this catalog is available for Sales and Order Management applications.
- Click on the Calendar icon to choose the End date, then select OK. This End date indicates when this catalog is no longer available for Sales and Order Management applications.
- The system automatically generates a Code based on the catalog Name entered. You can change the value to any desired alphanumeric string if desired.
- Type in a Description of this catalog.
- Click on the Save button.

The Product Catalog's Details screen re-displays as shown above.
- Make any desired changes and click the Save button.
Publish the New Product Offering Catalog
- To initiate the publishing of this new Product Offering Catalog, click on the Publish button.

A confirmation popup displays indicating that "Changes to certain fields on Catalog are not allowed once published. Are you sure you want to publish?"
- To publish the catalog, click on the OK button.

The newly published Catalog's Details screen displays as shown above.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 to view the new Product Offering Catalog displayed on the Offerings - Product Offerings Catalog screen as shown below.

Add New Product Offering Catalog to Order Enrichment Flow Policy Decision Table
After creating the new product offering catalog, you also need to add it to the Order Enrichment Flow Policy decision table for the enrichment to work.

- From the Offerings - Product Offering Catalogs screen, click on the ServiceNow All menu tab.
- Click on Workflow Studio.

The Workflow Studio screen displays as shown above.
- Click on the Decision Tables button.

The Decision Tables screen displays as shown above.
- Scroll down the list and click on Order Enrichment Flow Policy.

The Order Enrichment Flow Policy Screen displays as shown above.
- Click on Add new decision row.

A new row is added to the Order Enrichment Flow Policy screen's Decision table section as shown above.
- In the screen's Catalog column, click within the new row to select the desired Catalog via the Value field's search option.
- In the screen's Flow column, click within the new row. A Flow popup screen displays. Navigate through the screen, and select Billing and Dunning enrichment.
- Click on the Save button.

The new catalog is now added to the Order Enrichment Flow Policy decision table as shown above.
